When your hospital or Trust becomes a member of our Trust Partnership Network, your medical staffing personnel and supervising consultants immediately benefit from the following:
Trusts will have access to a reliable talent pool of experienced, high quality IMGs who have already been thoroughly vetted and assessed before being accepted onto our training programmes.
Trusts are fully supported by the RCS during their own recruitment and appointment process. Once successfully matched and placed, we continue to support the Trust throughout the duration of the trainee's placement.
Our programmes can adapt to reflect local or regional needs and priorities.
We welcome the views of Trust partners when designing and delivering our programmes.
Our network of over 50 reputable overseas partner institutions includes surgical colleges, hospitals, university medical schools, ministries of health, surgical societies and specialty associations. Together, we identify well-qualified surgeons and surgical trainees from a diverse range of countries.
Acceptance onto our training programmes are subject to candidates successfully passing our rigorous interview and assessment panels, the membership of which is drawn from our network of expert Specialty Clinical Leads.
We work with Trusts to ensure that job descriptions meet the necessary standards and provide assistance in obtaining Deanery/ LETB approval for the post. Once a match has been made, we facilitate GMC registration and support the Tier 5 visa application process for the trainee.
