Partner Institutions
"Cooperation is the thorough conviction that nobody can get there unless everybody gets there." - Virginia Burden
Our training model is based on partnership & sustainability.
We work with a number of established and reputable international Partner Institutions as part of the ISTP recruitment, application verification process.
Membership, employment (service delivery and/or teaching) or enrollment with one of our partner institutions is an essential requirement for eligibility and/or admission to the programme.
Our partner institutions ensure that those applying to take part in ISTP are:
(a) in good standing;
(b) will benefit from the training offered;
(c) committed to returning after completing their placement; and
(d) will share their newly acquired skills and knowledge with their colleagues and other health professionals in order to benefit the local surgical workforce and practice.
