Consultant General, Laparoscopic & Colorectal Surgeon – International Surgical Training Programme (ISTP)

 

Mr Banerjee is actively involved in postgraduate training being the Surgical Tutor and Educational Lead for General Surgery at Queens Hospital, RCS MRCS examiner and SAC Liaison Member for West Midlands. He is Clinical Supervisor and Assigned Educational Supervisor for Foundation, Core and Higher Surgical Trainees and was nominated as Trainer of the Year at the UCLP PGMDE Awards in 2016. Mr Banerjee he is a JAG accredited trainer and is aiming to develop an advanced therapeutic endoscopy tertiary centre at his trust. Mr Banerjee has been instrumental in the appointment and ongoing support of ISTP trainees from India, Kenya and Sudan within Queens Hospital
