Kamran Baig
Consultant in Adult Cardiac Surgery – International Surgical Training Programme (ISTP)
Mr Baig has a specialist interest in aortovascular surgery and alongside his Consultant post at St Thomas’ Hospital, he is also the Lead Consultant Cardiac Surgeon for Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Surgical Care Practitioners and for the Hospital Transfusion Committee. He is passionate about education and training and has served as Trainee Representative for the London Deanery Specialist Training Committee in Cardiothoracic Surgery. He organises teaching sessions for FRCS (C-Th) Part 2 candidates from around the country at St Thomas’ Hospital and is faculty tutor for the SCTS ST5 Cardiac viva course.
