Consultant Plastic Surgeon – International Surgical Training Programme (ISTP)

 

Mr Viswanathan delivers services across two hospital sites (Ipswich and Norwich) and specialises in skin oncology and reconstruction, Head and neck cancer reconstruction and microsurgery. Mr Viswanathan has been actively involved in the teaching and training of junior surgeons within his department as the clinical supervisor and is the Plastic Surgery Lead in the skin oncology MDT at Ipswich Hospital, and the Head and Neck MDT. He served as Service Director for Plastic Surgery in 2017 and 2018 and currently serves as the Examining Faculty for the FRCS (Plastic Surgery) exams at Norwich, and participates in the National Selection for Plastic Surgery. Mr Viswanathan currently supervises an ISTP surgeon from India within his own plastic surgery department at Norwich Hospital.
